![]() The F63's console includes a vibrant 6.5-inch LCD display and an integrated sound system. |
The F63 comes complete with six automatic programs--including cardio training and fat burning options--and two customizable programs, so you can challenge yourself with multiple routines. Or you can opt to control the speed and incline manually. The speed range is adjustable from 1 to 10 miles per hour and the incline varies between 0 and 15 percent.
And to reduce space, the F63 boasts an Easy Assist folding deck design. This unique feature allows you to release the deck, step back, and watch the deck unfold itself. When you're done with your workout, simply fold it back up and store it out of the way. Other features include a 20-by-55-inch running deck, a large stop switch, cooling fans, armrest speed and incline controls, and a low-profile running hood that doesn't get in the way of your running gait.

Most Helpful Customer Reviews 25 of 26 people found the following review helpful: 5.0 out of 5 stars Love this treadmill!, By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Sole F63 Treadmill (2011 Model) (Sports) Prior to purchasing this treadmill, I did a lot of research online and tried out various treadmills at multiple stores. I just received this treadmill yesterday and so far I am loving it. It was delivered by ABF freight and everyone I talked to at ABF (including the delivery driver) was very helpful and friendly. My husband and one of his friends carried the treadmill down to our basement. My husband put it together in less than an hour. The treadmill is very quiet and easy to program. I love having the ability to create my own programs. I have found with other treadmills the speeds of programs vary too much (starting at 2 miles per hour which is way too slow). I also like the fan and being able to plug in my ipod. Only complaint... there really isn't a book holder on the treadmill. I usually like to read magazines while on the treadmill and I don't think it would stay in place very well. Overall this is an excellent treadmill and I am very happy with my purchase. 15 of 15 people found the following review helpful: 1.0 out of 5 stars Warning 2011 F63 Has Possible Software Flaw, This review is from: Sole F63 Treadmill (2011 Model) (Sports) Please heed this warning...Don't buy the 2011 F63 treadmill. There are known software issues which Sole has yet to resolve. We purchased this treadmill over three months ago (January 2011) and have yet to be able to use it. It has two distinct problems that prevent it from being used. First the unit intermittently displays a LS1 Low Speed error, which causes the treadmill to freeze up. Second and the most serious problem is the unit will suddenly adjust the speed. The technicians have been out three times and replaced the speed sensor, main board, and control console, yet the problems still persist. I was told yesterday by a Sole technician that he has personally seen four of these 2011 model F63 treadmills with this problem and he believe it is a software issue. It is my understanding that Sole's engineering department is still trying to resolve these issues. I was told that the service department technicians want to replace our treadmill, however the higher-ups (management) within Sole want to try changing parts one more time. They seem to have a policy that they will not replace a treadmill unit three attempts are made to resolve the issue. This does not seem to be a very effective quality management system and could have serious consequences if someone is hurt. I would have thought Sole would have immediately started recalling these treadmills due to the inherent danger of someone getting hurt. I am still waiting for the call back promised by Sole yesterday...I guess they are overwhelmed trying to resolve this issue. My wife and I just want a treadmill that works!!! 12 of 13 people found the following review helpful: 4.0 out of 5 stars Very good treadmill, but the F80 is worth the few hundred more., This review is from: Sole F63 Treadmill (2011 Model) (Sports) This is a pretty good treadmill. I bought it based on Sole's reputation & warranty. I did a lot of research before buying, but at the last minute couldn't bring myself to spend the [...] on the f80, so I went w/ the f63 on sale at Dicks for [...]. I figured since the f80 was more often recommended for die-hard runners and the f63 was reviewed as more than good enough for walkers & joggers, I'd save the difference.I now regret my change in model. The f80 was much quieter. I have to have the tv volume up pretty high while using this one. The 80 was almost silent in comparison. The belt on the 80 was twice as thick. The deck cushion was better on the 80, it seemed to absorb your strides better, of course that's what [...] more buys (plus additional warranty time). The speed & incline on both are comparable. It does take a bit for the speed to catch up to the setting, but that's not really a big deal. One thing about either model is that Sole has this incredibly stupid design of a curved front cover over the front of the belt. Most other brands have a straight cover across, further up, away from where your feet land. Running is ok, but when you're walking, be careful not to step on this cover as to step forward. I think while running you are a bit farther back on the belt. It is an extremely bad design and is an accident waiting to happen - thank goodness the side handles are there to catch yourself. Others have mentioned this design flaw on other models too. Anyway, if you can afford the f80, I recommend that model instead. If not, this is probably the top of the line treadmill you'll get for around [...]. Which ever one you buy, unless you have a couple of very strong friends to help you, go for the delivery and have them at least put it in the room you'll be using it in. Paying for set-up isn't really necessary, I got it set up in an hour or so, but this is VERY heavy and you'll need help!! Share your thoughts with other customers: Create your own review |
